Lake Lumber Co. is a division of Neel Lumber Co., originating in Grand Junction, Iowa. We are a family run business and have been serving the Iowa community for 95 years. Located in Panora, Iowa, next to Lake Panorama, we deliver products and services in the central and west-central Iowa areas. We have worked with many of the area contractors to provide the materials necessary to build some of the area's finest homes. For the DIY-ers, Lake Lumber is your locally owned Do It Best Home Improvement Store.. We are always equipped with the lumber, tools, and knowledge that you need to get the job done yourself.

Interior Design Consultant

Hi, my name is Emily and I am the Interior Design Consultant at Lake Lumber. I recently moved to Panora from a small town in Minnesota to join the Lake Lumber team! For the past few years, I have worked at my parent’s interior remodeling business as the Lead Sales Consultant and have thoroughly enjoyed learning and expanding my knowledge on the building and remodeling interior design process. I spend most of my free time outdoors, whether that be riding or competing in barrel races with my horse, fishing on Lake Panorama with my boyfriend Adam, or just hanging around with friends and family. I’m very excited to be apart of the Lake Lumber team, and I am eager to help you with your next project! See you soon!

Hardware Store Sales + Paint Specialist

Hi, my name is Tara. I joined the Lake Lumber team in 2020. Prior to that, I worked in the food & hospitality industry & different jobs throughout communities in Iowa. Over the past few years, I've worn many hats. Now, I'm the primary paint consultant for the hardware store. Outside of the store, you'll see me running in local 5k's or helping others with yardwork & pet-sitting. I'm always busy doing something!

Tony Greco

Outside Sales

Hi, my name is Tony, I joined the Lake Lumber team in June 2024. I have worked in the industry for the last seven years in the Des Moines market. I enjoy working closely with builders and their clients providing them with the customer service they deserve. Outside of the office, you will find me hanging out with my wife and three children. Watching sports and hanging out with friends and family.

.Hello, my name is Kyle and I joined Lake Lumber in January of 2024 as a sales representative. I have been in the building materials industry for 30 years as a sales rep for Larson Manufacturing. I am exciting to meet Lake Lumber customers and help them with their projects. When I’m not working, I’m either fishing, enjoying yard work, or visiting our three kids who have flown the nest.

Adam Hackfort

Sales/Operations Support Specialist

Hi there, my name is Adam. I started with Lake Lumber in January of 2024. I was born and raised on Lake Panorama and attended Panorama High School. In 2020 I graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Supply Chain Management before working for Pella Corporation for three and a half years prior to approaching Lake Lumber. I am very blessed to call Panora and Lake Panorama home. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend out on the water bass fishing, hunting, golfing, or spending time with family and friends.
